Bonfires can be held at several public beach accesses & at many gulf front homes with the owner’s written permission. Bonfires are subject to permit availability.

Private Beaches

We can set up bonfires for homeowners & renters with written owner permission on private beaches that extend to the waterline. All bonfires are subject to permit availability.

Common Questions

What time should my bonfire start?

Your choice! Watch the sunset or start after dark. Click here for local sunset times. It gets dark roughly an hour after sunset.

Permits are limited by location, so we ask for your top 3 choices. If your first isn’t available, we’ll try the others automatically.

Walton County requires a special event permits for events with 30+ guests. Pricing is available here. Special event permits are not included in our total, but we are happy to secure the permit or walk you through the process if you contact us. We charge an additional $150 fee for bonfires requiring a special event permit.

Holiday bonfires are often possible—check with us before booking. Holiday bonfires incur a $100 fee. Note: the county prohibits bonfires on July 4th.
Bring food & drinks or have it catered—just no glass or ceramic on the beach.
Weather cancellations are allowed until 3pm on the day of the bonfire for a 50% refund. We can also reschedule for an additional $155 since permits are non-transferable.

Sea Turtles:

Turtles nest along our beach May – October. If you encounter a turtle, DON’T touch it & DON’T blind it with a flashlight. DO call the turtle hotline (850-865-4503) immediately.
